FAQs

1. Can I use my moisturiser on my eyes? Why do I need a separate eye product?

The skin around the eyes is more sensitive and delicate and has other concerns that are different from other parts of your face. The concerns around the eyes ― such as dark circles ― aren’t necessarily the same as the concerns on the rest of the face. The main goal of an eye product, aside from brightening the eye area and reducing the look of fine lines, is to deliver the same ingredients you would use on the other parts of the face but at doses that are gentle enough as not to trigger irritation around the delicate eye contours.

2. What is the difference between the eye essence, eye cream and eye capsules?

OptimaLift A+ Multi-Repair Eye Essence is water-based and more lightweight and is great for day use or if you generally prefer more lightweight textures, you can apply it both day and night. It is recommended for people who want to resolve dark eye circles and eye bags/puffy eyes issues. It also has a slight minty effect, which helps to cool and perk up fatigued eyes.

OptimaLift A+ Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream is an anti-wrinkle formulation which helps to minimise the appearance of fine lines and helps to lift the eye contours too. It is a restorative cream for night or you can also use it in the day if your eye area tends to be on the drier side.

OptimaLift A+ Eye Repair Capsules is a multi-tasking product which helps to lift and smoothen out fine lines around the eye contours, as well as reduce the appearance of puffiness around the eyes. This is recommended more for use at night 2-3 times a week as an intensive treatment.

For a more comprehensive eye treatment, we suggest using our OptimaLift Eye Contour Mask 2-3 times a week for an instant refresher. It delivers a powerful punch of high concentration eye serum for an instant skin tightening effect, leaving your eyes looking firmer, brighter, more radiant and rejuvenated!

3. What should I use for dark circles?

OptimaLift A+ Multi-Repair Eye Essence reduces the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines with Haloxyl™, a novel combination of anti-dark circles ingredients to boost blood circulation and is effective at reducing eye bags and dark circles.

4. Will eye creams cause milia seeds?

If you are prone to milia seeds, we will recommend our OptimaLift A+ Multi- Repair Eye Essence, which is water-based, lightweight and fast-absorbing.

5. Are your eye capsules eco-friendly?

Our OptimaLift A+ Eye Repair Capsules are biodegradable and eco-friendly.

6. Which are the benefits of the OptimaLift A+ Intelligent Eye Revitaliser?

The OptimaLift A+ Intelligent Eye Revitaliser boosts 3 technologies: Therapeutic Hot Compress of 9 different heat settings between 37°C to 45°C to relieve fatigue around eye contours and brighten dark circles, Sonic Vibration of up to 10,000 micro-vibrations per minute to promote blood circulation and detoxification to minimise puffiness and LED Red Light Therapy to boost collagen regeneration, improve skin elasticity and plump up fine lines. It also compresses 10-minutes of eye massage by hand into a single minute!

7. Which mode of the OptimaLift A+ Intelligent Eye Revitaliser should I use?

Customise your eye spa treatment from 3 different modes:

Mode 1 (For dark circles, puffiness and fine lines) : Sonic Vibration + Hot Compress + Red Light Therapy Triple-effect care for brightening, skin rejuvenation and anti-wrinkle effects to repair and revitalise the elasticity of the eye contours.

Mode 2 (For dark circles and fine lines): Hot Compress + Red Light Therapy The hot compress soothes tired eyes and improves circulation, and the LED red light care enhances cellular activity to minimise fine lines.

Mode 3 (For dark circles and puffiness): Sonic Vibration + Hot Compress 10,000 times per minute high-frequency vibration massage, 37°C – 45°C heat settings, soothes tired eyes and improves circulation, while accelerating the absorption of nutrients from your eye products.

8. How long should I use the device for?

You can use it for up to one minute on each eye or stop the device once your eye product is fully absorbed.

9. Can I use the device for more than 5 minutes?

We do not recommend using it for more than 5 minutes as it may cause fatigue to the eye muscles instead.

10. Can I use the device on its own?

We recommend always using the device with an eye product as it helps the device to glide on better and it also helps to boost the absorption of your eye product deeper into the skin for better results. Avoid using the device on dry skin as it may cause unintentional tugging of the skin which may result in fine lines and the heat may irritate dry, sensitive skin.

11. Can I use the device on my face?

Definitely! You can use it on your laugh lines, forehead and jawline too.

12. Is it normal that the device feels less warm after massaging it for a while?

It is normal due to the cream barrier and the heat also dissipates as you move the device around and your eyes get more accustomed to the heat.

13. Is the device safe for use during pregnancy?

We do not recommend using this device during pregnancy or you may wish to consult your gynaecologist for advice. However, it is a great device which you can use post- pregnancy and it is suitable for breastfeeding (sleep-deprived) mummies too.

14. Is the device waterproof?

The device is not waterproof so do not run it under running water. You can clean it with an alcohol swab or wet wipe.
