Both provide SPF 50 UVA/UVB and visible light protection. SunShield SPF 50 is a moisturising tone-up sunscreen with colour-adaptive microcapsules that release a soft peach tint upon application for radiant, buildable coverage. It is especially suitable for dry or dehydrated skin looking for extra hydration and glow.

SunShield Aqua SPF 50 is a lightweight, water-based, and non-comedogenic sunscreen with a natural tint that lightly evens out skin tone for sheer, natural coverage, making it an ideal alternative for oily or acne-prone skin that prefers a fresher, weightless feel.

2. Does SunShield SPF 50 leave a white cast?
No, SunShield SPF 50 is formulated with a hybrid blend of mineral and chemical UV filters designed to minimise the heavy white cast commonly associated with traditional sunscreens. The colour-adaptive microcapsules release a soft peach tint that blends seamlessly into the skin tone for a natural, radiant-looking finish.

3. Is SunShield SPF 50 suitable for oily or acne-prone skin?
SunShield SPF 50 is suitable for all skin types, although those with oily or acne-prone skin may prefer SunShield Aqua SPF 50 for its lighter, more breathable and non-comedogenic texture. SunShield SPF 50 offers slightly more hydration and buildable coverage, making it especially suitable for normal, dry or dehydrated skin.

4. Can SunShield SPF 50 replace foundation or makeup?
SunShield SPF 50 provides natural, buildable coverage that helps blur the appearance of pores and even the look of skin tone for a radiant “my skin, but better” finish. For those who prefer lighter everyday coverage, it can be worn on its own in place of foundation or as a smooth, glowy base under makeup.

5. Do I need to double cleanse after using SunShield SPF 50?
We recommend thoroughly removing sunscreen at the end of the day using a gentle makeup remover, cleansing oil or cleansing balm to help prevent buildup and pore congestion. 6. Is SunShield SPF 50 a mineral or chemical sunscreen?

7. What is visible light protection?
Visible light, sometimes referred to as HEVL (High Energy Visible Light), comes from both sunlight and everyday sources such as indoor lighting and digital devices. Prolonged visible light exposure may contribute to pigmentation, uneven skin tone and signs of premature skin ageing, especially for pigmentation-prone skin. SunShield SPF 50 contains ingredients that help defend against visible light exposure while protecting skin against UVA and UVB rays.

8. Can SunShield SPF 50 replace my moisturiser?
SunShield SPF 50 offers light hydration and antioxidant protection, but its main purpose is UV and visible light defense. For dry or dehydrated skin, we recommend applying it over your usual moisturiser to keep skin fully hydrated and maintain a healthy moisture barrier.
